Grew up in traditional Alaskan Native village of Kokrines which is on north bank of Yukon River until I was eight. Family moved across and down the river to Ruby, Alaska so we could attend school. Before we had traditional and seasonal lifestyle. Veteran-served on U.S.S.Constellation, a naval carrier, during the Vietnam War. Carpenter,subsistence Yukon River bush lifestyle. Considered a Master Craftsman in building Athabascan snowshoes.Last man standing gets that destination. No native apprentices that we know of. Reaching sixty.
